Current

A variety of efforts completed since leaving college. Friends of mine have gone on to work for major city dailys, national newspapers, public radio, commercial TV, and popular magazines. Not me ... computers got the better of me, but I still like to draw. And besides, doing so gives me an excuse to play around with other software!

Notebook

Artwork salvaged from notebooks at work. On your deathbed, you will not wish you had spent more time at the office, but you will want to look at the pictures you were drawing while waiting for yet another bad PowerPoint presentation to end.

College

Artwork done while at Penn State in the late 1970s, mostly for the school newspaper The Daily Collegian. Almost all of this was done initially in pencil, inked with a rapidograph, and then photographed for paste-up in the page galleys (where it was sometimes shaded a little with adhesive films.) That is, extremely pre-digital ... a nice history lesson for the kids.
