I’ve officially run out of anything interesting to say. Mothballing the blog until that changes. Please do avail yourself of the puzzle solvers … I do plan to add to those soon!

:(
This, of course, comes on the week where I’ve decided to get a domain.

Well, that’s good news, anyway. You mean ‘a new domain’, right? Didn’t you have one for the ‘Commoner’s View’ posts, and one for the podcasts?
I’ll post again, at some point. The primary season left me tapped out of all humor, and without that, it is impossible to write!

Well, that isn’t officially mine, long story that.
But I’m getting a new domain to host a blog for myself, a writing portfolio, a place to mess with PHP-based things, etc.
I’m 90% sure on who I’m hosting it with, but recommendations are always welcome :)

I host with bluehost.com, which supports my site, a political blog, a site for my Dad’s book, etc., and I use perl, PHP and MySQL throughout. They do a really good job with providing dashboard access to all that, and support Fantastico for easy installs of WordPress, Joombla, Drupal (I know you’re a fan), lots of email accounts, etc. Yahoo! hosting provided similar support but was pricier, at least at the time I signed up. Worth checking out. Send the link when you get started … happy to link to it from the Renaissance!

Do they have some kind of referral program I can purchase with, so that you can get some money back? I was thinking either them or dreamhost.com, but I hear too many bad things about dreamhost to make me 100% sure about them.
